For some reason, Amelia and I have been battling it out lately. She is two and therefore is prone to moods and meltdowns. I am 33 and therefore am prone to moods and meltdowns. It's not always pretty around here, especially when I can't give her the attention she needs and wants. I know with everything we have going on at any given moment, Amelia hears a lot of the following: "No!" "Wait just a minute." "I can't pick you up right now!" " Please stop!" "Use a nice voice!" "Say Please!" "Put that back!" "Get down from there!"

It can be frustrating, I'm sure, to be small but think you are big.

Amelia is such a cutie. When she smiles she lights up all over. And she is so funny!

After I took the picture below, she said, "Ayudame." When she pushes in between me and the counter/stove/whatever I am doing when she wants my undivided attention, she says, "Empujen" (Can you tell she has been watching more shows than she probably should? Thanks Dora! Wah.)

She is a good climber and thinks she can climb anything. Eek.

This is my usual view of this girl, asking to be picked up and held or hoisted onto something, asking for fruit snacks, trying to grab the camera or whatever I'm holding. Poor thing. She's pretty patient given how often she is asked to wait...

Amelia is smart. You should hear her count to ten! I love how she speaks too. She is loving and so sweet. She gives Clara kisses all the time and is always ready for a hug or to cuddle us. She thinks Lindsey and Rand are the coolest and they think she's pretty great too. Kids at the park or church always love to see her and get her to do some of her funny faces.

We all just love this girl! I'm glad she's got so much spunk to her. She definitely makes sure she doesn't get lost in the shuffle!

I just mowed and cleared those leaves less than 24 hours ago and there are that many already?
I thought that very same thing when we went out there this morning! There's no keeping up with them!
She is just adorable!!! I love these photos of her. :0) She's lucky to have such attentive and loving parents too!
Oh she is such a beauty! I love her spunkiness! Give her smooches for me.
p.s. This comment is from the future...bwahaha! I love being a day ahead.
She sure is a cutie, even if she is an imp..maybe she gets it from her cousin!!
So fun to catch up on your blog! Your kids are so darling - I wish I could meet that Amelia in person. Also, thanks for the photos of a good old Maryland fall! I sure miss them - they run a little on the soggy side here in Oregon. :)
