Clara

Clara has been making us laugh a lot lately.  She thinks she's as big as all the older kids and joins right in with whatever is going on.  You should see her little march/run she does, with fisted hands swinging fast by her sides - all purpose and determination.  She loves the big kids' beds and at bedtime she speedy-quick climbs into them, gets under the covers and lay there looking at you like, "Just try to put me in the crib!"  Nap time makes her so mad - she wants to hang with the other kids instead, but she's a great napper.

She can talk and communicate and tell us so much these days.  It's clear she knows how funny she is.  She's very sweet too.  We think she's clearly quite brilliant.  And it might sound strange, but it's easy to see that she's happy to be in our family - we like her and she likes us!

Even though she can run and climb and get into everything and is able to go and do so much, I'm glad Clara is still happy to fold and tuck herself in and really cuddle.  We had to take a picture of this because I have the feeling her baby cuddle time is going to go by too fast.  (Please disregard the unfortunate paper carrot nose of our garage door snowman that seems to be growing out of my cheek :)  We just love this little cutie!
